so here we are
beneath the sky
looping loops with an easy eye
...
wandering with softly treading feet
over stone and brick and grass and root
and concrete
...
for you have to be somewhere
and we were there
or near
before we were
here
where thereabouts
and whereabouts makes
hereabouts
...
so let us press on
as the crowds allow
towards an if and a why and a where
and a how
and let us listen to the masses in speech,
to the ululation
of the babbling brook
of a thousand voices in confabulation
...
and let us then go see
me and you
where the flowering words open up
towards the blue
...
so let us go walk then
you and i
while words take shape
behind the eye
...
so let us talk, then, us,
we
as sounds lilt from side to side
from me to you to
me
...

New Pour into The Bucket
Today, September 1st
32 new pieces
...
perhaps clear your cache
...
...
so here i am
lost in the lushest greenery
...
so here i am
staring hard at the tiny leaves of a fern
...
and here i am
stood on the high ridge-top looking down at the jungle in the valley
the snaking river in the ultra-green flat wetland
watching the hazy net-curtain of rain drift over that green
...
here i am
wandering amongst the boughs
beneath the branches
brushing through the leaves
...
and here i go
rolling in slow-motion up around the hairpins
descending the steep old mottle-stone clambering steps
hitch-hiking motorbikes along the high roads
with a view of the two broad valleys
...
so here i am
yet soon i will be
at Kathmandu airport
where my last experience of flying out of there
Spring 2022
was TERRIBLE
...
so there i go
after seven weeks
of sinking deeper and deeper into the greenery
...
...
while its unclear if the road is even open
yet i plan to leave Friday
for a flight in a week
so i will bus twenty miles
then hitch-hike
and possibly walk
over the trouble-zones
if i can...
during monsoon…
...
a pool too busy for the swim

this means its the last few days of Bromance
with big-hearted Maury from Brescia
who took the photos
...
we are even self-conscious about the fact its a Bromance
our own Buddy Movie
...
yesterday
getting back from Ghattichina does not look straightforward
buses are infrequent
so i say
we could hitch-hike separately?
because getting a motorbike to stop is a doddle
and Maury says
that’s not Bromantic
...
we have done many trips
tough and tougher
up and upper
where he, bad knees, prefers ascents
and i, still the sweatiest person on Earth, prefer descents
...
will be a shame to part
